Body Language Both cartoonists and mimes * use body language to get their message across . Mimes use movement and physical expression instead of words to send a message that is humorous . 1 Look at the following pictures of mimes and discuss with a partner . § What is each one doing ? I •) What is the mime " saying" with his / her movement and facial expression ? 2 What does each of the following descriptions of body language tell you about the person or people ?
