Section Task : Perform ! Writing a review of a CD 1 . Choose a CD and listen to it . If you need to , read about the musician or group in the library or on the Internet . 2 . Write down the following information : ? What is the name of the CD ? ? What type of music is on the CD ? ? What did you think of the CD as a whole ? ? What did you like about the CD ? ? What songs did you especially like / dislike ? ? How does it compare to other CDs of the musician or group ? ? Who might or might not like it ? ? What grade would you give it ? 3 . Use the reviews on pages 31-32 and the information about text organization on page 34 as models for writing your review . 4 . Write your review . Make sure that you have answered all the above questions . 5 . Ask a partner to read your review and give you feedback . Make corrections based on your partner's feedback . 6 . Check your spelling with a dictionary or a spell-checker . Check your grammar . Then make your final corrections . 7 . Submit your first draft and final version to your teacher , who will assess your review using the rubric on ^ J | 5 75 .
