The Enchanted Hills William Randolph Hearst was a famous newspaper publisher in the early 1900 s . Today he is remembered as the person who changed journalism . If you have seen the movie , then you know that it showed Hearst as a tyrant and controversial figure . Hearst was 78 years old when the film was produced , and it was reported that he did everything he could to prevent the film from being screened . As we all know , he wasn't successful .
