Pirate Pickingss Section Task : Reaching Port Writing a limerick 1 . Working in groups , choose a pirate or a topic based on the sea . You may choose one of the pirates mentioned in this section , or other famous pirates . such as Captain Hook from Peter Pan , or Captain Long John Silver from Treasure Island . You can even make up one yourself . 2 . Write the limerick using the guidelines on page 31 . 3 . Together , recite the limerick to the class . Your presentation will be assessed by the teacher and the rest of the class . Use the ^ J ^ . 4 . Assess the presentations given by each of the other groups using the two criteria in the "Class " column . Then give your feedback to the group . The following rubric shows what you should have in your completed task and how it will be assessed .
