Natural Disasters is about the causes and effects of natural disasters . The module is made up of material in this booklet and is supported by material on the English Online site on the Internet . Every section in this booklet has a task , in which you sum up what you have learned in the section . ? The completed tasks form the basis for a project on natural disasters . This can be an online project OR a classroom project . ? If you choose the online project , you develop a virtual Hurricane Visitors' Center . If you choose the classroom project , you take part in a simulation of a town meeting , where the mayor has to decide on a plan of action before a coming hurricane .
